Here are some pointers to help you feel at home on your first visit.
Allow yourself plenty of time to find the studio for your first class. The studio is located on the second floor. You may enter the building through the front or back entrance. There are stairs, or if you prefer an elevator is located inside the rear entrance.
PARKING: On the street or we have a large parking lot at the back of the building. Enter the parking lot at the far side of Bank of America.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited during this time.
Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes before class starts so that you may sign-in, orient yourself and enter class in a relaxed way. If you arrive after the start time of the class, you may not be admitted.
The doors are locked during class to insure the safety of people's belongings.
If this is your first ever yoga class we recommend the Beginner's Classes, Gentle Flow, Yin, Full Body Flow, or Yin/Yang classes. However you are welcome to start with any class on our schedule. Please check our schedule through the link below.
Wear comfortable workout wear. Yoga is practiced barefoot.
Bring a yoga mat, large towel and water to class. please bring any props that you might use to support your practice
Please refrain from wearing very scented products, perfume and cologne.
Leave your cell-phones off, at home, or in your car. We do not welcome phones, iWatches, etc in the yoga room.
Practice on an empty stomach, preferably 2-3 hours after your last meal.
Please inform the teacher before class if you have any injuries, illnesses or are pregnant.
Stay hydrated. Drink water throughout the day as a way to keep your muscles supple and eliminate toxins.
Keep practicing!!! Soreness after practice is normal, this is your body awakening. The more you practice, the better you will feel. A consistent yoga practice is recommended to receive the full benefits.
